Our pine chicken shavings are totally natural… 100%. And not only are they totally natural, but they’re 100% biodegradable, too, so you don’t have to worry about unsafe disposal. This natural chicken bedding is completely eco-friendly. (And perfect for compost, too.)

Wanna hear more? We thought so. Our pine chicken shavings are specially processed to eliminate dust (99% dust-free!) and wood debris found in other poultry bedding. Less dust = safer habitats. No additives, no dyes, and no irritants make this bedding perfect for your coop and nesting boxes.

To add to all of the awesome qualities of our pine chicken bedding, we’re always thinking about how products are produced. We value safety. All equipment is sanitized before production. We use a heat treat oven (600°F/356°C) on our pine shavings to prevent the growth of mold spores. Exit temperature (140°F - 160°F/60°C - 71°C) is targeted to make sure the wood shavings are free of mold, e.coli, salmonella, and other dangerous pathogens.
