Pellets can be such a great supplement to your guinea pig’s diet. While hay is the most important part of your cavy’s diet (really, it’s #1), when you want to provide a little extra nutrition, pellets can be your answer.
We recommend feeding with Small Pet Select Timothy hay, freshwater (always!), and moderate amounts of fresh veggies.
Stay away from the junky big-box pet store guinea pig pellets; they’re packed with unsafe ingredients and can cause obesity, teeth issues, and other scary things.
